The Columbia 300 Swerve offers bowlers brand new technology inside and out. Starting inside, the new Swerve core has a very low RG of 2.47 combined with a fairly high total differential of 0.052. The intermediate differential is 0.007, down from the 0.016 value of the Hi-Dynamix core that was used in the Antics line. The next element is the new HyperSHOCK outer core. Visually, this is the green-colored material that you’ll likely notice during drilling. It includes a new additive that is intended to alter the way the ball transfers energy to the pins. The final new element in the Swerve is the Reflex Solid coverstock. This coverstock comes out of the box at 500/1000/2000 Abralon, a fairly rough finish that makes it feel right at home on heavy oil patterns.

The Swerve easily provided our testers with enough traction to excel on our heavy oil test pattern. They all got to the pocket
