The 508A is the newest bowling ball from Track. This ball is both a new ball with the “A” Angular motion as well as a new 5 series ball. The core shape is taken out of the 607A Special Edition. The numbers were altered from that ball to raise the RG and slightly raise the differential. This ball also uses a new coverstock formula. The MP Gen 4 Reactive Pearl with Performance Additive pushes down the lane easily, saving its power for the back end movement.
The skid/flip nature of the 508A made it a natural fit for our medium test pattern. Stroker was able to play up the boards and let the angular nature of the ball make the move in
