Axis tilt will be increased more than rev rate with the pinky. This is why you have more backend reaction. Tilt is the amount that your PAP is up in the vertical axis. Literally, it is measured as the amount of spin. When you tuck your pinky you will increase axis tilt at the point if release. In addition, cocking and cupping the wrist also will increase the axis tilt. Consequently, you will increase both the amount of skid and backend reaction with each of these three. The pinky tuck will cause a small increase in both skid and backend reaction while cocking and cupping your wrist will lead to a great deal more skid and backend reaction. Experiment with each indivdually and then stack them: cup and cocking; cup and pinky tuck; cocking and cup; cup, cocking and pinky tuck. This is literally seven different ball reactions with these three changes. Specifically, watch the ball reaction difference with each of these seven combinations. You will be surprized at how this will provide you with so many fine tuning possibilities.
P.S. Cupping the ball will create more revs as well. And, tucking the pinky will increase the axis of rotation as well.
