Anybody else bowl better after a layoff?

I seem to find that I bowl better after a break of at least a month. I think it's because the break let's my body forget whatever bad habits I've developed over the season. Anybody else find the same thing?

I had a BIG layoff from 92 to this past winter season, now that's long, but I found a lot of timing issues. Upon working on these timing things I felt about 75% competitive again, I finished the season with 1993 and am presently doing a short summer league.

Quite a bit of video work is planned starting this week and this will be
very revealing.
