Brunswick recently introduced the Nirvana as the only non-Mastermind ball in their high performance Hook line of bowling balls. This releases uses a new coverstock called ECS, which stands for Enhanced Composite Segmentation. This very aggressive cover is a new formulation for Brunswick that comes out of the box at a sanded 1500 SiaAir finish. The Nirvana also uses a new core shape. The Nirvana Ultra Low RG Asymmetrical core revs up quickly and, paired with the rough aggressive cover, make this ball a monster on heavy volumes of oil.

The Nirvana’s combination of strong cover and strong core allowed us to have our best reaction on our heavy oil test pattern. Tweener and Stroker loved this ball on this condition. Their speeds and rotations matched up masterfully with the Nirvana with this amount of oil.
