The Maverick offers Ebonite fans a new choice for heavy volumes of oil. This new high performance ball uses a new coverstock called GB 14.0 Solid that comes out of the box at a sanded 2000 Abralon finish. This coverstock easily chews through the oil while still maintaining energy for a strong back end motion. The Maverick pairs this new cover with a brand new asymmetrical core design. The new Maverick core has a slightly higher RG than the Iron Fist core used in the Warriors.

Like the Warrior Elite and Warrior Supreme, the Maverick worked best for us on our heavy oil test pattern. It easily gave all three testers plenty of traction through the oil, allowing them to hook the ball easily. The Maverick didn’t want to push too far down the lane on shots that we missed left of target into the slickest part of the pattern.
