The Villain provides Motiv fans with a new option for heavy and medium oil conditions. The asymmetrical Sinister core design has a higher RG than the other high differential cores in the current Motiv line. On the outside, the new Coercion MFS Reactive coverstock does a nice job of providing hook in the oil without burning up before it goes through the pins. The combination of this new cover and core will give bowlers more length and less total hook on conditions where the Jackal Rising, Jackal Ghost, and Trident provide too much traction. The Villian is finished at a 3000 grit sanded surface, which provided plenty of traction for both our medium and heavy volume test patterns.

Stroker and Tweener liked the Villain just a little more on our medium oil pattern than on our heavy oil pattern on the fresh. The added length from the smoother box finish and higher RG core shape helped them get their Villains through the front and was beneficial in helping them open up the lane.
