The Rave On is one of the two latest releases from Radical Bowling Technologies, with the other being the Ridiculous Asym. This ball uses a hybrid coverstock paired with a weight block that has a slightly lower RG of 2.522″ and a slightly higher differential of 0.049″ compared to the symmetrical core from the Grease Monkey series. The Rave On’s hybrid cover comes out of the box at a 500 SiaAir / Royal Compound finish, which helped our testers see very easy length on our test conditions.
We liked the Rave On best on our medium test pattern. Each tester was able to use a straighter trajectory through the fronts, letting the compound-finished hybrid cover grab strongly in the midlane. All ...
