The Alpha Crux is the latest sibling born into Storm’s high performance Crux family. This third installment of the Crux name in the Premier line uses the same Catalyst asymmetrical core design as the previous two Crux releases, but this time it is paired up with a new solid coverstock. The GI-16 Solid Reactive coverstock is an aggressive, oil-loving cover that comes out of the box at a 2000 Abralon sanded finish.

Our heavy test pattern was best for all three testers with this strong and aggressive bowling ball. Each tester stood about three boards farther left on this pattern than they did with the original Crux. The Alpha grabbed easily through the oil, making this long and heavy volume pattern seem quite easy. As the oil in the front started to go away, each tester could move left with their feet to catch more oil to push the Alpha down ...
