The Ratchet is the latest upper mid-price release from Hammer. This ball joins the Brick in using a core shape named MPA. While this one is also a hybrid coverstock, this ball is much stronger in the oil and at the back end than the Brick.

The aggressive personality of the Ratchet allowed it to match up with both our medium and heavy test patterns. Stroker and Tweener just narrowly preferred this ball on the medium. The 3000 Abralon was able to still clear the front relatively easily and made a surprisingly strong move at the breakpoint. Cranker liked it the best on the heavy pattern.
