The Ascent Apex Pink/Green Pearl is the second release from Motiv with the Ascent Apex name. Last summer produced the Mountain Blue color scheme, while this year’s version offers a much brighter color combination. This ball again uses the Fusion XL pearl reactive cover that is paired with the high RG Recon core design. It comes out of the box vividly at a 5000 grit LSS finish, giving it easy length through the front of the lane on medium and drier patterns.

Like the first Ascent Apex, while it is marketed more for drier lanes, we again had the most success on our medium test pattern. This ball glided through the front of the lane the same way last season’s ball did, but this version provides just a little more
