The Brunswick Vintage Danger Zone is the third release in Brunswick’s Vintage line of equipment. It joins the LT-48 and the Gold Rhino Pro, and we found it to be the best of the bunch. This version of the Danger Zone uses an updated coverstock called PK 2016, which is a modern replacement for the famed PowrKoil 18 cover used on the original. The core is also updated to a new light bulb shape, replacing the version with the nugget from the original. These updates allow this ball to offer the same motion on today’s thicker oils that the original Danger Zone provided back in its day.

The Vintage Danger Zone was best for our testers on our medium oil pattern. Its low RG core revved up easily, allowing its solid coverstock to read the midlane very strong. It gave all three testers a strong downlane
