The Lane #1 Black Panther uses the same core shape as the very successful Pink Panther. The brand new Ion solid reactive coverstock creates extra traction in the oil, which in turn creates a smoother turn out of the dry.
All three testers found this type of reaction best suited for our oily lane condition. The large volume of oil in the heads requires a ball that is strong up front. Since the back ends are fresh when we start testing, this ball was a perfect match for that condition. We haven’t seen a Lane #1 ball read the midlane as well as this one in quite a while, if ever.
