The new Ascent Solid is the second of two new entry level balls from Motiv. The Solid uses the same Recon weight block as the Ascent Pearl. The difference in the two is simple and pretty obvious by just looking at them. The color, box finish, and coverstock type are all different on the Solid.
The rough 1000 wet sanded solid cover creates much more traction through the oil and we were able to use it with success on our medium test pattern. The Ascent Solid wanted to grab the lane as soon as it came off the tester’s hands. Lower rev bowlers will love the additional traction provided by the ball. Stroker was amazed
