The Radical Ridiculous Pearl goes back to the Symmetric with Scoop Technology core design from the first Ridiculous. This time, it is surrounded with a super-quick response pearlized coverstock finished with Royal Compound that is applied on top of 500 grit SiaAir. We’ve missed reviewing a few Radical balls over the years, but the Ridiculous Pearl offers the longest and most angular reaction out of anything we’ve tested in the Radical brand.
The Ridiculous Pearl’s angular motion was great for opening up the lane on our medium test pattern. The coverstock on the Ridiculous Pearl is one of the cleanest through the oil that the Radical brand has ever produced. This lets this ball turn on a dime at the breakpoint and make a sideways turn toward the pocket. Our Stroker tester has never had a ball flip over downlane quite like this ball.
