Storm’s new Vivid is the first release that uses the NRG coverstock with a new core design. The new M.A.D. core weight block pushes the Vivid further down the lane than the last solid NRG covered ball, the Virtual Gravity Nano. This core/cover combination provides a strong continuous motion from start to finish. The 2000 Abralon factory finish of the NRG cover gives the Vivid the traction necessary to handle larger volumes of oil.
The combination of the new core and stronger cover allowed the Vivid to match up best with our heavy oil test pattern. We found this ball to offer the best reaction with a small belly through the front of the lane
