The 706T uses the Helmet core that was the engine in the 706A and wraps it with the Gen XT coverstock finished with a 2000 Abralon pad. This creates strong traction in the midlane and keeps going from the breakpoint through the pins.
The test staff had their best reaction on the heavy test pattern. The aggressiveness of the Gen XT cover really showed its stuff on this pattern. All testers were able to play a small swing shot to the track area and get the ball to recover shot after shot. We lowered the box finish to see how
