Think you’re an unlucky bowler? Next time you’re out on the lanes, try counting all the good breaks you get (lucky strikes, breaking up splits, etc.) alongside all the unlucky breaks.
Even though the bad breaks tend to stand out more in our minds, you’ll probably find over time that the number of good breaks and bad breaks is about the same. This kind of mental exercise will help shift you toward a positive mindset by keeping a better perspective on your “luck.”
