The Deviant Pearl is the second ball from DV8 to use the Deviant Medium RG Symmetric core design. This higher RG (2.562″) and large differential (0.050″) core is paired with the Composite Pearl coverstock that is finished from the factory at 500 SiaAir with Royal Compound. This core and cover combination results in a ball with both good length and a strong downlane motion.

We liked the Deviant Pearl best on our medium oil pattern. Each tester started between three and five boards farther right with their feet than they did with the Vandal Smash. They each saw more length from this ball with less total hook. The pearl cover was cleaner than both the Vandal Smash and the Grudge Hybrid, but with just as much motion at the back of the lane.
