The Mission Unknown brings an asymmetrical core shape back to Ebonite’s upper mid performance line. Following the sanded symmetrical Adrenaline Shot and Adrenaline Overload at this price point, the Mission Unknown combines the original Mission core design with a solid version of the GB 12.7 coverstock. This cover is stronger than the ones used on the Adrenalines, but not as abrasive as the covers used in the high performance Warrior line. The box finish is 500/1000 Abralon with Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish, which helps give this ball easy length through the front of the lane. The Mission Unknown comes in a sealed box that is to be opened by the end-consumer; most Unknowns will be black in color, but approximately 10% will be red and approximately 1% will be gold. All three of our test balls were the standard black version.

The Mission Unknown was best for us on our medium test pattern. All three testers were within five boards of each other at the arrows. Stroker was crossing the second arrow, Cranker
