Motiv’s new Venom Cobra is squarely targeted at bowlers battling light to medium oil patterns. This ball features a new coverstock called Sabotage Hybrid Reactive. It comes out of the box with a 5500 grit Laser Scan Polished finish, making it a viable option on lighter oil conditions. On the inside, it uses a new low differential symmetrical core design called Top Gear. It has similar RG and differential to the previous core used in the Venom line, the Gear core, but this new variation has a slightly different geometry and features a dual-density design.

Our Cranker tester had the best reaction on our medium pattern. His rev rate allowed him to see plenty of hook at the back end of the lane. Tweener and Stroker also liked their reactions on this
