The Scandal Pearl is Hammer’s second ball to use its Carbon Fiber Infused technology in the coverstock. This pearlized ball has a polished factory surface that is achieved by finishing it with a 1000 Abralon pad followed by Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish. It is also the second ball to use the Scandal symmetrical core design, which gives it a low RG of 2.48″ and a high differential of 0.054″, just like the original Scandal. Its polished pearlized cover helps make it the strongest at the breakpoint and back end in Hammer’s high performance line.

We found the Scandal Pearl to be best for all three of our testers on our medium pattern. They could all easily see their Scandal Pearls chew through the oil in the front of the lane and offer a sideways reaction at the back end upon encountering friction.
